Dying Embers of Autumn

Dying Embers of Autumn-a Triquatrain Now night is done, the welcome sun Breaks through and greets the dawn. A rose in bloom with faint perfume Awakes this Autumn morn. What awesome sight at morning light, A tapestry of leaves. Exquisite shades in woods and glades, A wondrous web she weaves. The winds may blow, until the snow Of winter takes a hold. There’s much to see, the wild and free, Before the days grow cold. A robin sings, such joy he brings, The sweetest melody. While Nature stirs, the world demurs, For winter is our destiny.
