Dusk After a Rain
The sky is quite dark and fearful
Only small bit of light
Yellow beams come from the center
But surrounded by night
People walk on the sidewalks now
With their umbrellas out
For the rain has just come and gone
Leaving water about
Children stomp on the small puddles
Laughing along with glee
Adults try to avoid these spots
They all go by wisely
Light now diminishes onwards
The air now seems so dark
Street now has reflections within
Cars now come to embark
The town is alive with people
All going here and there
Feel of the night after a rain
Brings life into the air
