Dusk
DUSK
Sadness surfaces at dusk
permeating sky
as gentle pitch of
birds intone
above evils shriek.
Lost leaves depart
lonely barren sticks
as winter chills its
mortal demise
and festers deep.
Panorama vestige steals
and defies the stroke
of the hand that lies
like feline eyes through
an eerie dusk
