Dry Well

Read through some lovely stuff today, Enjoyed the great use of word play, Some poems were easy to understand, Yet others seem to me so bland. So I sat down to write a few words, Try as I may of things to say. I found no words would come my way. So I just penned this 'til another day.

Exactly the point I'm at, Dave. As things stand writing doesn't come easy to me anyway. I take forever to come up with a decent piece. Happy penning, my friend. Licia :-)

Hi Delysia, as Kim says it is something we all go through, but it is important to remember that we do get through it if we persist. Hope your well gives up it's water soon. Thanks for your comments. God Bless. Dave

Well written description of what we all go through. Some days the words flow, others as you say are 'a dry well'. Sometimes, all it takes to get going is an image or just simply sitting down and starting to pen a concept.

Thanks for your comments Kim, I just thought it apt to let folk who do have a dry well not to give up. It will flow again in time. God Bless. Dave.
