Drowning

John was losing his mind over Mary. For days by her house he would tarry. But she knew him not Giving him no thought. Now he lives on rye whiskey and sherry.

Alcohol is never the answer, as we both know. I suppose hundreds of thousands of people worldwide try to drown their sorrows in drink, which usually ends up causing their deaths. It is, indeed, sad. . . . As always, I value and appreciate your comment.
