Drink Away the Memory
I'm sore and I'm bruised
I'm drunk again
Old faithful thoughts
That used to be kind
Now destroy my sadistc mind
Chaotic and obsessive sights
Follow the scitzophranic tones
To my drugged up actions
Will never be supressed
Perhaps this is why
My reputation follows me
Possibly this is why
I can't find love
Maybe I'm too young
Or not mature enough
But I know what it feels like
To have steel driven through
Your heart by a hardened source
It's impossible to drink away
The memory of your lost love
And only for temporary relief
Does it give until the hangover
Then I'm getting drunk again
