you are drifting away little more every day farther along the way Not aware that you stray I don't know what to say How I want you to stay But you are slowly EVER SO S L O W L Y just drifting A~~W~~A~~Y

Yeah, that slow drift can be painful, especially if the one drifting is the one we care about and love... I love the form of this poem - very nicely executed, Eileen. Always, Laura

The slow motion, as if scaling the departure it is indeed beautifully penned down

Lovely poem, Eileen; a varied discussion could evolve out of its simplicity. As starters.....perhaps just looking for a bit of space...confinement could smother a good relationship! ~~~ an after thought....some keep their balloon on a string...:) Hugs // paul

sometimes we mistake going with the flow as drifting but the other person is making sure they are not too far away.
