Drifting Away
In the presence of a rose
Its scent reveals its very essence
And lingers even when it's gone
A memory kept without pretense
And so it is with your perfume
That lingers even when you leave the room
And fills my soul with thoughts of you
A memory kept of hearts so true
But now you've left me all alone
As the scent of your soul lingers on
But through my tears my sorrow's sown
As memories in the wind are blown
