Dress For Success
The princess had everything but wanted a certain dress
"Please King daddy, if I get it I'll sing!"
Poor Gem, stitched every stitch perfect, including the hem.
In school she had mastered every single sewing tool.
With intelligence, she spoke to the king with confidence.
If blessed by your Grace she'll surely be dressed.
With strength he said "Anything, now adjust the length!"
A retreat awarded, she bowed thankfully at his feet.
Lovely light, emanated from a princess clothed just right.
For Rose's "Plucky Two by Nine Contest."
