Drenched
I find myself lost in the falling rain,
I've never counted up the cost -
I'm the only one to blame,
I cry out loud but no one seems to hear -
thunderous are the clouds that come
dangerously near,
I'm not sure of my decisions so it's hard
to conclude -
when one has no vision -
when one is controlled by their mood,
I allow the rain to drench me -
to hide the flow of my tears,
with no vision it's hard to see -
the fate of my upcoming years,
Many trials and tribulations seem to be my
plight,
my feet are tired of racing -
my arms are tired of the fight,
I lay down at night to escape all the pain,
I'm reminded of my plight -
DESTINY is my name.
