Dreams Alike Forgotten Realities
I know a part of my life has faded away
Even more so when it becomes harder to remember
Memories with no longer the words to say
And I know I'm responsible for forgetting what I know forever
Is it not frightening to know you'll forget what you'll see?
Is there not a question that'll trigger a flashback forgotten?
And if forgotten... how did it all felt to once be?
For that answer you know to have lived a past forsaken
How is it I'm so assured having lived a life I cannot recall?
To have been through my lifetime with only myself as the witness
Imagine living a forgetting life for moments once meant for
A past against the ever changing world in misguiding interest
Might I be bold enough to dare say?
Against all who knew, who know and was known
He who is old, she who is young, anyone with a way
We are the world... of each our solely own
Have you memories without words to say?
Memories perhaps to remember an ending forever
Simply because living means a fading everyday
Yet as hard when it's tomorrow to remember
