Dreams

My dreams, running over the brim, Shall be the subject of Earth’s whims For the wind is changing And my breath is bursting With this new intoxication Bringing me to elation! To hurt me, you never will, For your heart shall not allow you to A tender one it is Hidden behind a rugged look with a brave front. What is this happening to us, the two lost souls? Our paths did cross, Since then, we never wished to stray Is it a gift from the one who died on a cross?
