Dreaming Eyes

Endless night skies... Engulfed by the stars; The gift of the gods... Watch as it soars. Far from the hurt, Perched so high above; Life seems so small, In the eyes of a dove... The fading moonlight, Leaves shadows to explore... Helpless in the dark, Floating away from shore. Eyes slowly close... In the hands of fate; The echoing wind... Pushes me toward the gate... Sitting outside the fence, Awaiting his coming arrival; Moments pass like hours, Drifting toward the spiral... Sinking into the abyss, Reaching for the fading light; Staring at the flickering flame, Dying with the lifeless night... Where have I gone? And what have I become? Dancing with the faceless keeper; Until my soul is numb. The most beautiful voice... Answering to my cries; Brand new morning light... Opens my dreaming eyes.
