Dreams that speak in waking hours, Dreams that dwell on peace and love. So crystal clear their divine message That wisdom sent from heaven above. Yet all around we find this wisdom In roots of earth to the tallest trees. Swimming in the ocean’s depths; Through cloudy skies in misty breeze. Mother Earth protects her children From ultra violet rays of sun. With gravity she holds us close. Enlightenment has just begun. July 30, 2016

We have a great mother indeed, but are we taking care of our old mom?

Some of us are doing more than our share...but it is our children we have to teach the importance of helping Mother Nature to have along rich life. Thank you Pashang. ; )

Lovely, Connie. Yes we do take for granted this wonderful cocoon that we've ruined over the years. Viv x

There are so many ways to recycle and reuse things. We just have to make the effort. Thank you Viv. ; )

You are right, it has begun. At last. Thankfully, intelligent minds are coming up with ways to clean up the mess in the oceans. No doubt more wonderful solutions will follow. I love the connection with nature in this poem Connie.

A lovely tribute to our Earth Connie - we need to be far more aware of the impact of our actions and educate our children as much as possible:-) hugs Jan xx

In fact, "Are all we see and seem, but a dream within a dream?" And, indeed, we can not healthfully live in opposition to Mother Earth and her spiritual harmony.

I love this tribute to the earth we both love. Just lovely, Connie, with great flow and rhyme. AND I love the uplifting component for all too often when I look around nature, I get soooooo mad at man! We should compile and bind educational and enlightening poems about nature, then force feed them when necessary! CayCay

A wonderful tribute to our dying planet. The Bible says we will perish by fire. It is my humble opinion, as we continue to pollute we will eventually destroy our ozone layer and we will burn up, Either that or the sun will eventually pull us closer. Probably not in many lifetimes but I believe that is earth's fate. Of course, I believe in science! Sorry about voicing my opinion, Connie.

First off the plastic bottles and bags need to go. It is insane how people use water bottles and drinks and then just toss them. Where do they think they will end up...in the middle of the ocean, that's where. There is movement to improve, but it is not fast enough. I could get on my soap box too, but I better get going on to the next comment as my time is limited. Thanks so much for caring about our earth and for your insightful comment Daniel. : )
