Dreamers Path
On dreams edge still
holding another thought.
Released sleeping thoughts
spiral upwards into the
dome of heaven.
Dream floating away
into the skylight of night.
Fading in and fading out
of dreams gates.
Songs I hear sung
by a skylark.
In flight of the night
he chases his song.
Not long he will reach
his mate in the faraway
dream.
Skyward he, flies his
wings dipped in rainbow
mist and color blue of
dusted brilliance swift
in the winds like
a shaft of light.
On dreamers path he
is joined by her feather
white breast and beauty
demure allured by his
songs she followed
the curve sleep of
night.
Meeting in air in a
dreams embrace
spiraling into the
thin mist with
trailing melodies
they vanished
into a thought
I dreamed.
