a child needs a happy place and to feel safe butterfly's and unicorns are happy things and safe things. the same as sunshine and and flowers.

this is about a child being in a safe place with things that make them dream of happiness

Close your eyes and lay down your head there are no more monsters under your bed. you can dream of unicorns and butterfly's you are safe now you can close your eyes. pull you quilt around you and dream your sweet dreams no more will you be woken by unhappy screams. your battles are over no more worries or dread sleep in the safety of a warm comfy bed. now you are older all the monsters are gone from your head so dream and play with unicorn the instead.
