Dragonfly
Dance and fly round the same old pond;
Ride the free breeze in sun and rain;
Achieve brief grounds with instincts fond;
Glide as you squeeze calm flutter plain;
Observe the scope of man-made stuff;
Now at long last the moment here;
Feel oozing hope not quite enough;
Linger just past the gate of cheer;
Yield to the light that soon must fade.
Heed the warning in joy and grief;
Ask for true sight when deed gets paid;
Imbue knowing in last light brief;
Keep poise of voice in choice that springs;
Urge fuels warm poise with mellow fling.
