Down where the willow trees blossom And the pear blooms white as cotton An old man works summer's garden Though worn out from years of hard work And the pear blooms white as cotton Touched by God's grace and sweet kindness Though worn out from years of hard work There'll be a pear crop come autumn Touched by God's grace and sweet kindness An old man works summer's garden There'll be a pear crop come autumn Down where the willow tree blossoms Sponsor:Rachel Firmin Contest:Repeat After Me Written March 17, 2015

You maintain a good sense of rhythm, adding feeling and depth to your word choices with a very human touch. Emile.

Dear Sara, your beautiful Pantoum made me think of the white blossoms that came each spring on my Bradford Pear trees. How true that tit takes not only hard work, but also a gift of God's grace to make the garden grow well. Your poem is an awesome entry for Rachel's contest and I wish you success! Love, carolyn
