Down On Wall Street
I pray for my country,
and all who call her home,
she is so beautiful,
but smothering from all the wrong.
Some have taken,
and not given back,
their greed is the reason,
she is in a crack.
Once so strong,
people had honor,
but not today,
they just take more from her.
All their spending,
is never enough,
hoarding their stash,
and buying expensive stuff.
Some don't have,
enough to eat,
but betcha they do,
down on Wall Street.
Please bail us out,
we are losing our ---
if you don't,
everything will crash.
Working people,
start working more,
they'll waste that away,
and scream for more.
Tax us to death,
until we turn blue,
and tell us more lies,
they are saving me, and you.
