Down In a Hole
The time for love has come and gone
The black night always enshrouds the dawn
Tears rain down and here I sit
Clutching the crimson flesh beneath
Down in a hole and I don't know if I can be saved
Constant pressure leading me to my grave
I hate how you make me feel like I'm only a kid
Five more scars to add to the hundred I hid
Don't run away...
Just please come to me...
Don't run away...
My soul wants to bleed...
I thought we'd fly
But my wings have been so denied
Down in a hole as my arms cry their crimson tears
I'd fought so hard to ward off all of my fears
I loved you so dearly but you were lying the whole time
The thought of a future without you is a mountain I can't climb
Don't run away...
It's perfect right here...
Don't run away...
I held you so dear...
I thought we'd fly
But my wings have been so denied
All that I've done was all for naught
The pain suffered and battles fought
The world's dark and now I see
I'm just a child to you all.
