Down-Great Expectations

The day begins with a big win-win A brilliant sunrise dazzles my eyes So much to do now, so many plans Then again, some unwelcome demands It's already noon, the heat's got me down My sunrise smile's turned into a frown Been spinning my wheels most of the morn Time to pick up the pace, get airborne I wing my way forward until it's past dark Yet as I add things up, the totals are stark Of all those big plans I intended to do Not one completed, and started just two A lesson I learned though, a word to the wise ~ Downgrade expectations after sunrise

Good advice Gershon. There’s always tomorrow to do what should have been done today, make hay whilst the sun shines, is what I say... Belle
