Doubting My Faith

Throughout my young life I've been taught the ways of God I've never doubted the teachings But now it strikes me as odd The Holy Book as I've read I can't take seriously I don't mean to insult fellow followers But it's shot with inconsistencies Does it make me evil? A Christian doubting his faith? I'd like to believe my morals Are silver anyway I still believe in God And to act to help the fellow man But I cannot believe the book That was written by human hands
