Double Minded

As if a dam has broken, sometimes thoughts just pour into my mind- a sea of good and evil. Overwhelmed I sit quietly at the great wall- watching for changes in its surface; I think of the little boy and his thumb- wondering if I am angel or devil today?

We have to fight the devil to stay an angel because even angels fall and become devils with no hope of eternity. I really enjoy your writing. I'll visit again soon. Keep the angels beside you and don't answer the Devils knock at your door.

A danger is think one has arrived...an to let one's guard down. The more enlightened one becomes, the more subtle the temptations. In the name of Right many Wrongs have been committed. I always remind myself, "If not for the grace of God...". Blessings my friend!!

For sure. It would be easier were it one decision, but the voices are many, and they change regularly, often faster than recognition for analysis. If we chose love first, excluding intellect, the chances for fault are fewer. Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply kim. Have a beautiful day!

No one knows truth truth...we react to what our inner and outer senses thus far have evolved to see. I constantly tell myself, when I have to convince myself to do something, it is probably wrong for me. Thank you for such an honest and introspective comment. Have a beautiful day, Wendy!

No devil and not only an angel, I suppose, but seeming contradictions are in reality complements. I like you double minded poem.

Great comment, Kai; it think it is best, anyway, for myself I have found, to realize I am not perfect always (:)), and to tread softly, being careful where I am stepping, and when found out of line, to make every effort to correct.
