Don'T Take Her For Granted
Don't Take Her For Granted
Don't take her for granted
she's had a hard time.
You ought to know by now
she's the sensitive kind.
She cries sometimes when she's alone
and even she ain't quite sure why.
It's just a part of who she is
when she needs time to cry.
She saw some dreams all fall apart
and she's seen some come true.
She tells herself you dream of her
the way she dreams of you.
Don't take her for granted
she ain't some game you're playing.
You ought to know by now
you're the reason she keeps staying.
Her love is like an ocean
so deep and vast and wide.
Don't you take her for granted
when she can't keep her love inside.
She needs you to stand beside her
when things don't go as planned.
She needs to feel you mean it
when you reach out to hold her hand.
Don't take her for granted
when her soul starts to bleed.
If you don't take her for granted
she'll be all you ever need.
