Brothers Grimm could tell many a tale Some of the endings could turn you pale Rumpulstilskin stamped his shoe Got stuck tore himself in two That edition* did not go on sale 1857 version of Story The ending of the 1857 edition saw Rumpelstiltskin die by being ripped in two.
