Dont Shed Tears For Me

If my last words were carved into stone And rested upon my grave, I'd speak out to you I am not alone God, walks with me today. By now he has taken, away all my pain And showed me streets of gold, So not another tear, come morning Just that last one, then let me go. Because now, I will drink from fountains Where there's petals all a float, And rest upon the water, Without a paddle or a boat. I'll feel the sun upon my face For the first time, without the heat. I'll be able to walk through the snow, Without the cold, freezing my feet. By now, I'm hearing nothing, But the laughter, And smiles through the air, So don't shed tears for me, You are the one, who must stay there.
