Don’t Look Ethel, They’re Flashing Us Written: by Tom Wright 3/8/2016 A smile often hides a heart that’s breaking, It’s as soothing balm when a heart is aching; A smile often causes another’s heart to race, Pouring a little joy onto their unsmiling face; It’s always difficult to experience pain & sadness, When all around, other’s, are displaying gladness. A smile can be a cold drink on a sweltering day, That we’ve freely given, while expecting no pay. In short, it becomes effortless to not bottle up fear, When those around us grinning from ear to ear;
