Don'T Fall In Love With Me

Don’t fall in love with me. I will eat away at you until you are a skeleton of who you used to be, Down to the marrow of your spirit I’ll infect, but you’ll disagree, Don’t fall in love with me. My problems are yours now but too heavy to lift, so put me me down, I’ll cry till my chest splinters and cracks, you’ll hold me together, try not to frown, Don’t fall in love with me. The lies spread upon my lips may taste like candy to you, So you’ll kiss me until the words come true, confessions come out of the blue, Don’t fall in love with me. Because I’ll fall right back, harder and faster than you’ve ever seen, Emotions run wild within me, hidden away, I'm a manic machine. Don’t fall in love with me. You’ll love every minute of it, until it comes crashing, tumbling to the ground. Pain may suck at the center of my soul, you may never know, I cannot make a sound. Don’t fall in love with me.
