Dont Ever Think Ive Forgotten

Don’t ever think I’ve forgotten Or that somehow I do not care I wonder what’s become of you And the reason you’re never there Don’t ever think I don’t wonder How you spend your day and night I do hope and pray you are well And that your life is filled with light Don’t ever think that I’m indifferent Take my silence to mean I’m cold I’m afraid that my words will betray And you’ll think I’m brazen, bold Don’t ever think I don’t read Every single line that you write I read, I go over and ponder My heart troubled in the night I am certain that you are aware That I hold you in high esteem You’re good, judicious, and kind Yet you’ve forgotten how to dream For now I must keep my distance And sometimes I just want to weep That my traitor mind works against me But my heart your m’mory will keep Eileen Manassian Ghali

It seems somehow I was drawn back to this one. It is very well expressed.

As always you write with courage and emotion, sorry you have a troubled heart. Hugs Rick. I can't imagine a world without dreams. Goodnight or I guess for you good morning.

It's ok, Richard....Goes with the territory. I realize that I can't change. What's in my heart doesn't stay hidden for long..... :( I could use pointers on how to be stoic and brave and nonchalant...any tips? No, a world without dreams is not worth living in, I say....Sweet dreams....

:) Richard...thanks for your care and support. You are a bit of sunshine in my life. :) Hope all is well with you....I'm not usually a mysterious kind of gal...I'm a "spit it out and berate myself later" kind of gal. I try to change...I do, but it's hopeless. Anyway...thanks for being there. It's a comfort.

:) You know what they said about the cat and curiosity, Tim? Doesn't the mystery just add beauty? Thanks every so much for the visit.....I do love hearing from you. Yes, the avatar...I'm a gypsy at heart! Too bad you can't see the pic up close. Got my big dangling earrings on, and my gypsy mood shows through in my smile! Hugs!

Thanks, Nette....there is a piece of my heart in every line! Sometimes out of pain comes beauty. Lately...I've become a bit of a recluse. My threshold of pain is VERY low and I often bungle up my words. I'm finding keeping a distance helps, but...what to do with the heart? Thanks for the visit! :)

Barbara...the Greeks have three words for love...Isn't that awesome? I am so in love with the Greek language having lived in Cyprus for 17 years. There is agapi (godly love), and philaos (brotherly love) and eros (sexual love). I will live it to your imagination to know which of the three this hidden love is! :)
