Don'T Be Scared

Don't be scared please, I Promise I won't bite, we can sit down for a bit, Don't be scared, I Promise you catch anything, we can be open and have a nice talk, We can go to the lake and take a nice quiet refreshing walk. Don't be scared, I Promise I won't bite, just because I'm quiet, That only means that I have A lot inside me, that nobody ever has given me the chance to be heard, they were too scared, because as you may have known before you came to see me, I have a mental health issue, but that doesn't define me, nor does it stop me, from me reaching out to those who aren't too scared to give me the time of day. Don't be scared, please do me a favor, sit down with me for awhile, look with your heart, and not with your mind, because I know from experience, that you wouldn't be very kind. Please listen for awhile, we can talk about life, my ups and downs, my kids, or your own life story, because I can tell you right now, my life story is not full of glory, for I have been shunned all my life, it's nothing new. Are you leaving already? That's ok, I'm used to seeing the back of people's heads walking away, It happens all the time, Maybe I should just say goodbye..
