Don'T Ask Don'T Tell
A worldwide policy in reverse.
The greatest land on earth,
yet it prevails.
A tradition, to uphold, they say.
Freedom fought for the world,
Freedom for all, but us.
We must camouflage.
Lifestyles, unrevealed.
Truths withheld, from the brethren,
unasked ponderies, from our fellows.
For if announced,
We are out, although honorable
Rejected, unwanted.
I do wonder in my life...
Will I see, others like me?
A brother in arms
standing tall, loud, proud.
Accepted?
