Dolphins' Serenade

They cackle and jeer, but never sneer Just smiles for seafaring admirers On smooth ocean they splash, sometimes dance Toasting cheers to the Gulfstream riders Taking to their tails, they seem to laugh This old fisherman can’t help but grin Offshore she seems to have many friends Exuberantly frolickin’ For beyond the realm of pelicans Hundreds of miles from a sandy beach She’s not alone, their chorus resounds Putting companionship within reach * For Susan's Little Viewed Jewels Contest

Your dolphins sound like more fun than ours , who just lead us on a merry chase up the channel when they know we are trying to follow them for a look. First on one side of the boat then the other, little teases the lot of them, perfect theme for a poem, congrats on your win Carolyn
