Dolphins' Serenade
They cackle and jeer, but never sneer
Just smiles for seafaring admirers
On smooth ocean they splash, sometimes dance
Toasting cheers to the Gulfstream riders
Taking to their tails, they seem to laugh
This old fisherman can’t help but grin
Offshore she seems to have many friends
Exuberantly frolickin’
For beyond the realm of pelicans
Hundreds of miles from a sandy beach
She’s not alone, their chorus resounds
Putting companionship within reach
