Dog Lessons
Dog Lessons
He taught me to be loyal,
to know who you can trust
to kiss the ones you love
and make sure you get brushed.
It never hurts to wag your tail
and always dance around.
Be sure to greet your friends,
by jumping up and down.
Drink up lots of water,
Play wildly every day
know just where the treats are
and learn how when to stay.
Growling’s OK sometimes
but never resort to biting.
Go on lots of walks,
the world is so exciting.
The most important lesson
I learned as I grew up:
Outside we may be dogs
but in our hearts, we’re always pups.
