Dog Days of Summer
August days bring sweltering waves of heat.
Lethargic breezes fail to cool our
sun baked bodies, so we languish,
praying for relief ... perhaps
a refreshing rain ... How
I long for autumn,
but for now the
dog days of
summer
reign.
