Doesn'T Mean

Just because I stand strong against all elements and odds. Doesn't mean I wont be subject to fall when your back is turned. Just because I hold myself together regardless of what has shattered. Doesn't mean You shouldn't hold me tight when my heart is breaking. Just because I'm nothing like what you've ever previously experienced. Doesn't mean That my company is anything short of satisfying once endured. Just because You can find somebody simpler, and more easily understood. Doesn't mean That you can find anyone who will ever love you like me. Just because Depth can be often exchanged for plain simplicity. Doesn't mean You should trade me in for someone less troubling. Just because You know me better than most anyone so far. Doesn't mean There isn't much more to be discovered. Just because I'm secure in who I am, have been, and will be. Doesn't mean I truly understand myself any better than you do.
