Dodey Dee
With many gathered ‘round me
I will lift my glass on high
In loving, caring tribute to --
But not to say goodbye
To one who gave me comfort
And accepted who I am,
Who lovingly took my heart
And held it in her hand.
And there it grew to love
This woman, Dodey Dee.
So, darlin’, take it with you –
It now belongs to thee.
