Do You Remember Me

Do you wait for me? Did you mean what you said Small not so tall me Hungry simple me Dying by fire me Always willing to walk on water Move the mountains Stop the rivers Reverse the direction of the sun For you Do you remember me? I was the one that was made of gold and mir I shivered with eternal light I was the one you rested your forehead on Head to head I was the one you could not let go of ever No that was me promising to never leave as if I had the power of God to love you no matter what oh but it was only the mermaids A siren's song Singing songs of completion " Here ...do come here to find true love No matter that you Crash and splinter on my rocks Rocks -a billy crazy love songs desperate conjoel Promises only God can keep and you You don't believe in God We do not have that in common Common man Because I believe and when I said it I meant I believe in love

Dear Ingrid, Your poem is breathtakingly powerful. The raw emotions and vulnerable questions resonate deeply. The contrasting images of "gold and mir" shivering with "eternal light" and the desperate yearning to be remembered create a captivating and heartbreaking picture. The final line, "I believe in love," leaves a profound impact. This is such a poignant piece.- Blessings, Daniel
