Do You Know the Road I Speak Of
Do You Know The Road I speak of?
(dedicated to #Robin Williams# )
You know the roads I speak of..
Regret, heartache, and tears
That slope that keeps on heightening
Leaving the ending nowhere near
You know the places I wander
To search, to flee, to hide
The place to erase uncertainty
That’s so impossible to find
You know the distance places
Of seclusion, withdraw, despair
The gap that waits for closure
The break that lacks repair
You know the underground channels
The deceit, sins, and lies
The act that changes existence
That face that you despise
We mature and learn through journey
A compass of emotional travel
A hike that we all must endure
As the life of one unravels
