Do They Care

Do they care that others walk for days for only a glimpse of food feet blistered and torn, with eyes of grey dead babies clutched at their wombs Do they care for the wee little faces whom will speak of horrors on this night will they take them from these places love them and lead them from their plight Do they care that lands are holy Do they care that hearts are pure Do they care their lives are lowly as a common two bit whore Indeed it is to wonder what has become of mankind in His image we have plundered spewing hatred from our minds The times again will change My friends I can taste it in the air this world is ours for us to mend question is Do they care....

Leah, a very moving piece. I truly believe that they DO care. I know I do. Nicely done. Lee
