~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Today is National Fig Newton Day and National “Do Nothing Day.” Who knew? To commemorate this special day, I created this Senryu. So, grab a couple of fig newtons, relax, and do nothing (after reading this poem, of course). if nothing is there then nothing has been truly expressed through nothing

I agree, Silent One...even at my age I'm too driven to do nothing. I can still remember my grandmother saying, 'don't dilly dally. don't be lazy. you can do that in your next lifetime (meaning after I died) I suppose those influential words still echo in my mind :-) enjoy the evening, Sara
