Do I Know You
Do I Know You?
I turn around to see myself
I am walking down another street
I pay no attention to who I am
A long black car nearly runs me down
A sun refuses to come out of hiding
A predatory hawk circles the sky
A dog is chased by a cat
The rain soaks me through, but weather is far from my mind
It is the way nature intended
It is the way it is meant to be
Nothing is right, everything seems wrong
Nothing is right, and another day is gone
The clouds are crying again
I am dying with the sound of the clock
I am living by the sound of the clock
The clouds are silver again
Nothing is wrong and another day begins
Nothing is wrong, everything is right
It is the way it is meant to be
It is the way nature intended
The rain stops, but weather is far from my mind
A cat is chased by a dog
A beautiful dove circles the sky
A bright orange sun peeks over the hill
A long, white car passes me by
I pay no attention to who I was
I am walking down another street
I turn around to see myself,
I smile and say hello
