Divorce

Love once was the focus of our lives till marriage became contentious; two sharp knives piercing the heart of it, killing it. Teamed hardhearted misfits dualistic by nature, antipathetic where love’s the casualty and we, just another statistic.

Hello my friend, congrats! for making the home page. Yes, I do like your poem, but, love never dies if it's love. My first love, didn't love me, (divorce) I learned that it wasn't love. It's been forty years now, with my eternal love. True love is forever! All the best Ken

True, but one doesn't know that it's true-love until it's tested. If it fails the test, it's already too late. Thanks for commenting, Ken.

Jan, Weep not for me. I was inspired reading the ridiculous U.S. statistics for divorce. Why in hell do the youth of today get married in the first place?
