Distilled

Time spent with a baby Is like liquid that's distilled, For the bad has all but vanished And contentment is fulfilled. As a Nana, I'm rewarded With the giggles and the smiles And the outside world seems far away - At least a million miles. For the two of us together (And with Grandpa, sometimes three) Have a bond that any outside person Easily could see. There is absolutely nothing That can really quite compare To the hours I spend with Henry - Time that's precious, sweet and rare.

Like your heart, this poem is pure. And for that hole, Henry's the cure. Your children's children have heavenly grace. It can't help but be seen upon their face.
