Distant Shores
DISTANT SHORES
watching from far-off realms
water dams behind blind eyes
while touching blue hues
weave together
worlds of puzzling words remain
yet we choose not to notice
mere fresh petitions
that un-tether
through gathering clouds
unfolding blossoms of
moist butterfly wings
akin to dreams we
dream
within
the
distant
shores
of
poetry
