Distance

From the moment I met you My life was never the same I think about you of the time And I didn’t even know your name Deep in my heart you light a fire That will forever burn in my soul An ever lasting eternal flame That’s burning out of control I know you’re the woman in my dreams The love I have been searching for Now I’m happy but still so very sad The distance between us is torture I wish to be hold close in your arms And become part of your heart beat You own my life my body and soul Although both of us has never meet I miss her more than she will ever know And yes sometimes my tears do fall And my heart races like speeding train When she text me or calls A Man will cry for the woman he loves But he is to macho to let her know So he keeps that emotional side hidden And puts on a false bravado I pretend that I’m not dying inside But I miss her like crazy And when she smiles with me My heart just melts inside of me Without her my life means nothing And I know I will surely die And just like the trees on the banks Of a river that runs dry I don’t know when I will get to see her Some things we don’t have control over But I can’t wait for that time to come To be on a plane from New York to Malaysia When she’s walking on the streets She looks like just a regular girl But to me she’s an angel from above That god has send down to this world I love her with all my heart and soul And my heart stops at her feet And the day she hugs me My life will be complete When you meet that special person You know right away who they are They’re the blood the flows to your heart The one you will love forever The distance between us is torture And many times my tears fall to the floor I know one day I will be in your life And be happy for ever more
