What have I done wrong …why won’t you listen to me I have my own opinions – I just want you to see Please will you just listen – I don’t want to fight We both realise its not simply black or white You don’t need to explain everything you do If you listen to me, I will listen to you 5th February 2015

Jan, I had no idea you British people understand "Fanny" so differently than we do here in the States! Wow, you people are disgusting! Hahaha! If it's any consolation the French are worse when giving vulgar names to certain body parts. Thanks again for reading my naughty limerick, an English invention, by-the-way. / M

Listening is very important in any type of relationship. It is the only way to really understand and know each other... I feel your frustrations, Jan. A friend and I have been trying to contact Poetry Soup about renewing my membership, and so far, no luck.

5 e mails and no response to what i consider serious matters - thanks for reading and understanding Kelly. I know others contact the site and get no response - hence the reason i am disillusioned. I am so sorry i missed your contest - I didn't even see it :-( Hugs jan xx.

Jan, I know you have not been feeling too happy lately. REading below, it looks like I guessed right on what this was about. Yep, it IS very discouraging how they don't listen to us. Nice job in expressing it!

My gripe is with the site Eileen - 5 e mails and no response hence my comment to you about not renewing my PM - I am not alone in them not responding to issues and in the end it may simply drive me away. :-( Hugs jan x

When I don't renew my PM it will be the site's loss - they do not respond to e mails I feel invisible! Hugs jan x

Indeed! Listening is an art difficult to master for some. And merely posturing or being "present" is NOT listening. This is an important message.

it is a very good poem Jan. Much more would be accomplished if people listened to each other. And we would all feel a lot more love. To listen to your own heart is also something that you must do, and be true to yourself. Love Shane xxx Mum & Dad?
