Diseased
I still feel the crushing weight
Of your love in my heart.
I sense you waiting calmly
To tear everything apart.
You've embedded yourself
Deep in the dark of my soul;
Feeding like a parasite,
Slowly taking your toll.
I'm no longer yours
But I still feel your touch,
Lingering like a dormant disease...
I hate you so much.
Now you hold me captive,
Where once you set me free.
Your love is a sickness,
Tainting everything I see.
I wish you'd show some mercy,
Please just let me go.
Love's pain is so exquisite,
And its death is much too slow.
