I'm a disco dancing dandelion Come find me in fields spinning freely Not a cloud raining on my thoughts Just peppermint pumpkin smiles Crunching golden leaves underfoot But I focus on the butterflies flying Sighing and smiling whiling away today And maybe everything that glitters Is truly golden in the fall Right into a pile of brown and gold Laughter and love unfold and if I'm feeling bold I'm a disco dancing dandelion Watch my petals swirl freely in the air Not a care I just had to share on a day so fair And some may simply stare but perhaps wistfully Because I know a freedom they may never know Time is short so I can't move slow My heart is majestic and I feel the glow I know not what waits for me tomorrow But I have no time for sorrow Because today I'm a disco dancing dandelion A disco dancing dandelion
