Dilemma

The vacancy of tears makes it too hard to handle. The pages turned by years burn through life's candle. But I feel the earth shake sorrow strips beauty's crown. And the light on my soul makes chains from an awful sound. I am sent stormy days taking refuge from the noise. And if the thunder stays in faith, I lift my voice. God, I'd give you anything drown the wine in memory. Give me snow and barren spring, but shield me from this agony. Let the sunrise freeze, bound in eternal curse. Make stone of gentle breeze as I try to pen this verse. Let heaven be scarred in flame as hell paints my dreams. The stars blush in shame romance an evil scheme. The angels can't release the millions from crying. My soul will know no peace, as long as children are dying....
