Different Poetry

There is something different about the poetry that i see written here within the pages. Not all poetry can be the same, some words are etched in fire and rage while others thrive in peace and joy of simply being, then there are those that rise slowly from the shadows. Within our souls are the burning, glowing embers of lost youth and adolescence struggling to get out and rise above the pain and pettiness hidden in our dreams, emotions and desires. To be more than who and what we are held deeply in the hopes that in the end we are content with who we have become.
